Should we be ourselves or not?

~Tuesday Thoughts~

So often we struggle to be like everybody else. We wear ourselves our trying to fit in. And of course every setting has its own expectations, so we try to please all.

But what about being an individual, a  maybe-strange but definitely-unique person? Somehow that seems even harder.

Abby O. has a great post on Nancy Rue's blog about this. Do check it out!

It's hard to remember sometimes, but we really are wonderfully made. We are loved and we are forgiven.

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[a] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39 (NIV)

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9 (NIV)

Amen! Hallelujah!
