Comfort. We all need it, I think. And I'm not talking about the materialistic comfort that comes with your own room and a nice comfy bed. I'm talking about the comfort that you have when you know there's Someone who cares, who'll be with you through everything. And that means EVERYTHING. When you're mad, troubled, unforgiving, desperate, lonely, needy - He's always there. Always. All the time. Did I mention that that means 24/7? :) Really, there is no one more there for us than God. Amazing.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
